Essential oils are added to the lotion throughout the massage. Inhaling EO’s affect the limbic system of the brain known to influence the nervous system. Depending on which scent you choose, these oils will work to either calm and soothe or to energize and revitalize your mind and body.

With Swedish massage, lighter touch is used as an invitation to relax. It works beautifully to quickly de-stress and ease the effects of the typical hectic life pervasive today. This massage includes myofascial release with some light trigger point work if desired to work out "knots". These techniques are done gently and will calm and soothe the nervous system to return our bodies to a state of homeostasis.

Deep tissue massage is designed to get into the connective tissue of the body, rather than just surface muscle. A variety of techniques are used to deeply penetrate the muscle and fascia to release tension. This is a more intense massage experience and as such it is not unusual to have some slight soreness for a day in the more specifically worked areas.
